What You Will Be Doing

Support the Projects, Engineering & Assets team, and wider organisation through positive team participation and by assisting when required with workload, providing backup, or advice in areas of expertise.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Projects, Engineering & Assets by assisting in the ongoing review and updating of information including policies, procedures, information sheets and processes.

• Any other tasks determined as appropriate to the position.

What You Will Need

• Demonstrated knowledge of landscape & engineering design, design review, construction techniques, materials and equipment, in the context of subdivision, land development and general infrastructure.

• Previous experience in subdivision and land development, including application of IPWEA subdivision guidelines.

• Ability to provide accurate advice to key stakeholders in the areas of landscape and engineering development.

• Computer literacy to use a range of software applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Project).

• Current "C" class Western Australian drivers' license.

• Experience in Local or State Government works program processing

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering and/or Project Management or demonstrated relevant experience.

• Understanding of survey and computer aided design (CAD) software.

• Knowledge of the Local Government Act 1995 and other relevant legislation, industry guidelines, standards and best practice as related to the requirements and procedures for engineering development.

• Construction Induction Card (White card) accreditation.

• General traffic management understanding and work experience.
