What You Will Be Doing

• Coordinate burials at Shire cemeteries in accordance with local laws and internal operating procedures, in liaison with Rates Coordinator as required.

• Oversee the security, housekeeping and maintenance of the Depot facility in conjunction with other stakeholders, including:

• fuel monitoring and ordering

• coordinate and maintain works plant and equipment, including scheduling repairs and servicing

• supervise capital plant replacement and inform plant replacement program.

• Coordinate after hour callouts for Works as required.

• Contribute to the preparation of the Engineering & Works budget.

• Support the Engineering & Works team and wider organisation through positive team participation and by assisting when required with workload, providing backup, or advice in areas of expertise.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Engineering & Works by assisting in the ongoing review and updating of information including policies, procedures, information sheets and processes.

• Any other tasks determined as appropriate to the position.

What You Will Need

Essential

• Demonstrated supervisory/leadership skills

• Demonstrated programming experience

• Project management experience

• Effective communication skills

• Intermediate computer skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health and Safety Regulations

• Construction Safety Awareness Card

• Current C class licence

Desirable

• Experience in road construction, drainage and maintenance

• Supervision or leadership qualifications

• Basic Worksite Traffic Management, Traffic Control, & Advanced Worksite Traffic Management

• Experience with Synergy Soft

• Current HR class licence

• Senior First Aid Certificate
