Mechanic

About the Role
Our valued client is currently seeking an experienced mobile mechanic to move into a permanent position. The mechanic will be responsible for Roadside Assistance throughout Darwin and will work on a rotating roster (across days and nights, with some weekends included). Successful candidate will work a minimum 8 hours a day with overtime available and will be able to commence immediately.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete roadside assistance duties

• Complete repairs on light vehicles

• Diagnose/replace dead batteries

• Able to work unsupervised

• Able to complete hard physical work

• Maintain a safe work environment

Skills and Experience

• Minimum Cert III in Mechanics

• Able to commit to a rotating roster

• Have a good understanding and high regard to safety

• Drivers licence

• Right to work in Australia

• Must be reliable and available for ongoing work

A work vehicle will be provided to the successful candidate in which they can use for business purposes.
