About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an Accounts and Administration Officer to join established yet innovative, aluminium building products systems supplier. In the role as an Accounts & Admin Office you will have direct responsibility for the business's activities in the accounting, financial management and general administration functions of the business and all that this encapsulates, to ensure that the accounts and general administration tasks are performed in an accurate, professional, and timely manner. This is a permanent role;Monday - Friday with flexible working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that all creditor accounts and processes are managed & processed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner to full reconciliation for each period.

  • Ensuring that all debtor accounts and processes are managed & processed in a timely, accurate and efficient manner to full reconciliation each period.

  • Preparation & receipting of all goods inwards into the MYOB EXO system then the matching and processing of supplier invoices and ensuring correct amounts for all purchases.

  • Verification and processing of supplier order acknowledgements to ensure that what they have entered into their system for supply matches with what was ordered.

  • Daily checking of all previous day's delivery manifests to ensure what has been: noted as picked and sent is what has been manifested correctly.

  • Daily invoicing of delivered customer orders.

  • Process/Enter Sundry Credits/Debits into the system.

  • Audit of all G.I. receipts and customer delivery dockets prior to rolling the month end invoicing.

  • Daily entry of debtor payment receipts, ensuring any overdue accounts are resolved as quickly as possible as well as handling any general accounts payable and receivable enquiries to a satisfactory resolution for all.

  • Calculate warehouse employee's weekly timesheets for entry of weekly wages into MYOB each week Generation of weekly/monthly management accounts related to key staff measures/KP l's.

  • Bank account and credit card & Petty Cash reconciliation

  • Processing of new Debtor Account Applications. Task includes seeking credit references

  • Create and maintain HR, IR (Awards & FWA) and OH&S Compliance and System frameworks for other managers in the business to operate from and within to ensure that we are up to date and meeting our

Skills and Qualifications

2 years minimum previous Accounts (Payable & Receivable to reconciliation) and General Admin/Data Entry experience in a busy office environment.

Proficient in using MS Office & MYOB software, especially in payroll.

Previous experience with MYOB EXO software is preferable

Intermediate/advanced skills in Excel.

Previous involvement in assistance with cost control.

Full ownership of all reconciliations both general ledger and accounts payable/receivable.

BAS, FBT preparation

Strong data analysis and preparation of management reports experience.

Previous credit management/collections experience will be required.

Ability to actively participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.

Can prepare the month end management & board reports.

Assist in the improvement of processes and procedures.
