About the Role:

Workpac are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer/Office Administrator for a full time opportunity with our resource Client based in Perth, WA.

Our client is looking for a highly motivated and positive Accounts Officer/Office Administrator to provide day to day support to the Senior Accountant as well as managing the office administration. The successful candidate will hold excellent administration and organisational skills with a background in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This is a permanent opportunity based in Perth CBD with the option to work full time or part time.

Key Duties:

  • Provide day to day support to assist the running of the 20 person office including overseeing facilities, security, maintenance, parking, office equipment and supplies etc

  • Assist with liaising with clients and customers visiting the office including answering incoming calls and emails

  • Provide orientation to new staff and ensure IT have set up access

  • Assist the accounts division with preparing Pos, invoices, accounts payable and receivable

  • Assist with payroll, staff expense claims and payroll forms

  • Assist with preparation of financial reporting where needed

  • Maintain cashflow spreadsheet and manage all term deposits

Experience Required:

  • Prior experience in an office management position or similar

  • Prior experience in accounts payable, receivable and payroll essential

  • Previous experience in travel management, EA or PA work would be considered

  • Excellent administration and organisation skills is essential

  • Must have high computer skills and competent in Microsoft Office Suite and MYOB is essential

  • Must have an excellent can-do positive attitude with a love for multi tasking and providing support

  • Previous experience in an audited environment would be a great advantage

  • Must have full working rights in Australia
