About the Role:
Workpac are seeking an experienced Accounts Officer/Office Administrator for a full time opportunity with our resource Client based in Perth, WA.
Our client is looking for a highly motivated and positive Accounts Officer/Office Administrator to provide day to day support to the Senior Accountant as well as managing the office administration. The successful candidate will hold excellent administration and organisational skills with a background in payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable. This is a permanent opportunity based in Perth CBD with the option to work full time or part time.
Provide day to day support to assist the running of the 20 person office including overseeing facilities, security, maintenance, parking, office equipment and supplies etc
Assist with liaising with clients and customers visiting the office including answering incoming calls and emails
Provide orientation to new staff and ensure IT have set up access
Assist the accounts division with preparing Pos, invoices, accounts payable and receivable
Assist with payroll, staff expense claims and payroll forms
Assist with preparation of financial reporting where needed
Maintain cashflow spreadsheet and manage all term deposits
Prior experience in an office management position or similar
Prior experience in accounts payable, receivable and payroll essential
Previous experience in travel management, EA or PA work would be considered
Excellent administration and organisation skills is essential
Must have high computer skills and competent in Microsoft Office Suite and MYOB is essential
Must have an excellent can-do positive attitude with a love for multi tasking and providing support
Previous experience in an audited environment would be a great advantage
Must have full working rights in Australia
