About the Role
WorkPac are currently seeking an Administration Assistant to join our industrial engineering and manufacturing client based in Newcastle. Starting at 3 months with the potential to go permanent. The successful candidate will be responsible for organising and coordinating the clients administrative procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness and efficiency.
Duties include (but not limited to):
Assist with data entry requirements including job bookings, leave forms, expense claim forms, compliance checks and other forms as required
Provide strong customer assistance through incoming telephone inquiries
Filing, archiving both hard copies and electronic documents
Prepare and collate all creditor invoices for approval and ERP entry
Conduct creditor account reconciliations
Prepare and submit project invoices, raising purchase orders and invoicing using ARIBA
Mail management including attend incoming and prepare and delivery outgoing mail
Ad-hoc administrative duties as required
Skills and Experience
Previous experience working in administration
Previous experience in internal/external auditing
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualification in Business Administration (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Office
NSW Drivers Licence
