Administration Assistant

About the Role:

Workpac are currently seeking an experienced Mining Administration Assistant based within the Blackwater Region for an immediate start. This role would suit an experienced administrator with prior Oracle experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general business systems.

This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster with the occasional Saturday as required, will be for 12 months in duration with competitive rates available for the successful applicant.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Within this position you will be responsible for contributing to the provision of quality administrative support services for the Company in a professional and consistently efficient manner that reflects and enhances the Companyâs values.

  • Contribute to cost compression initiatives as an integral member of the Administration Team

  • Identify opportunities to automate and streamline business processes, engaging in the implementation process to deliver successful outcomes

  • Communicate effectively via the Front Desk, Main Telephone line and Administrative Email enquiries

  • Demonstrate high level of attention to detail in all areas of administrative support, organising staff and visitor travel, reception duties, monitoring of centralised email communications, weekly site mail run, maintenance and mining data entry, and general administration duties

  • Engage with departmental leaders to provide administrative support on a regular basis to support business continuity.

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of work, policies and aligned procedures within the administration team

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in Oracle and Microsoft Office - Mandatory

  • Minimum 12 months experience within a Similar Environment

  • Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11

  • Current "C" Class Driver's License and Own Transport

  • Own Residential Accommodation in Blackwater

  • Ability to pass a full Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
