About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Logistic Administrator for a permanent opportunity with our industrial client based in Perth CBD.

What You Will Be Doing:
As an Logistics Administrator your primary goal is to effectively schedule aggregates trucks to ensure timely deliveries of both commercial customers and internal concrete plant orders. You will work closely with customers via phone calls and online order placement as well as internal stakeholders such as logistics,sales and concrete plants. You will be responsible for coordinating the dispatching and utilisation of fleet of aggregates trucks throughout the Perth metro area. This agile and dynamic role combines order confirmations, time allocations to utilise existing fleet over both the phone and email.

  • Allocate aggregate trucks to customer job sites and negotiate where and when trucks can be transferred

  • Assist customers with order bookings, changes and cancellations with training provided on delivery time scheduling with our order allocation software, Command

  • Maintain effective communication with Plant Production Supervisors, Aggregates Contractors, Area Operations Managers, Account Managers and Technical staff

  • Effectively manage and comply with driver fatigue management and statutory requirements.

  • Ensure daily raw material orders are placed accurately and on time for next day production schedule.

  • Effectively reduce costs whilst maintaining optimum service levels

What You Need:

  • Strong and professional communication skills both on the phone and via email

  • Strong work ethic and experience working in a fast paced, busy environment

  • Prior scheduling experience of trucks or similar would be highly regarded

  • Basic SAP knowledge (preferred but not essential)

  • Current Drivers License and Police Clearance with be required on commencement
