Case Manager

Our client, a federal government department located in the Adelaide CBD is looking for experienced case managers for a 6 months contract + possible extension.

1. Rehabilitation & Compensation delegates are responsible for the management of compensation benefits and rehabilitation programs for eligible members.

2. Our aim is to maximise the potential to restore a person who has an impairment, or an incapacity for service or work, as a result of a service injury or disease to at least the same physical and psychological state, and at least the same social, vocational and educational status, as he or she had before the injury or disease.

3. The role aims at ensuring a return to work outcome where possible. Duties may include representational work to groups of exiting members, liaising with ADF personnel, health providers and external organisations to ensure a seamless transition to civilian life. The work entails complex case management, payment of compensation benefits, the application of rehabilitation policy, procedures and operational guidelines, and exercising delegations. The Rehabilitation & Compensation Officers are also expected to work in close cooperation with SRCA, MRCA & VEA Initial Liability Delegates to achieve overall case management objectives.
