About the Position:

WorkPac are currently seeking an Incapacity Payment Delegate based within Adelaide for an initial 6 month contract. This position will hold a Monday to Friday roster with competitive hourly rates available for the successful applicant.

Applicants with prior experience across an Finance, Insurance, Accounts, Management or Public Service background would be highly regarded,

Duties will Include:

• Undertake claims investigations and determinations under the Veterans Entitlement Act 1986 (VEA), the Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2004(MRCA) and/or the Safety, Rehabilitation and Compensation (Defence-related claims) Act 1988 (DRCA)

• Provide advice and interpretation, including writing, on aspects of legislation to colleagues, senior managers and clients.

• Liaise with DVA staff, clients, and outside organisations to reach timely and correct determinations on claims.

Skills & Experience

• Confidence and drive to work independently or under limited guidance, and the capacity to learn new tasks and processes quickly.

• Experience in client-facing roles, and an understanding of the needs and challenges of DVA's clients.

• Good written and verbal communication skills and experience in dealing with internal and external stakeholders.

• Excellent organisational skills, with ability to manage own workload effectively in addition to being an effective team player.

• Good knowledge of Outlook, TRIM, Excel, Process Direct or the ability to quickly learn.

• Current C Class Driver's License or Transport

• Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
