Suspension Mechanic

We are looking for an enthusiastic mechanic / technician for our Pedders Suspension store at Marion. The role will suit someone who has experience working in a fast paced environment. You must have a genuine interest in cars and be passionate about the Pedders brand and products.

Essential skills:

• Experience as a qualified mechanic

• Ability to carry out wheel alignments

• Attention to detail

• Excellence in customer service

• Automotive workshop organisation, ability to coordinate tasks and perform jobs in an efficient manner

• Communication skills, ability to influence and persuade

• Time Management, ability to deal with competing priorities and delegate

• Leadership, ability to motivate and develop, lead a team and achieve goals

• Participate in after-hours meetings, training and trade shows as required

• Must be available to work Saturday mornings

• Must hold a current driver's license

In exchange for these skills, you will be provided with:

• Industry reputed technical training in suspension, steering and brakes

• Business support and training across sales and marketing, financial and people management

• The potential for moving into a Pedders management role

Duties will also include:

• Fault Diagnosis

• Wheel alignment

• General Repair of Suspension and Steering components

• Brake Repairs

• Moderate Electrical installations including towbars

• General House Keeping

• Liaise with Customers

Additional training modules are available to our Workshop Technicians to enable them to reach "Master Tech".
