About our client
Our Client Whitehaven is looking for a Bench Hand / Driller Offsider to commence work in the Gunnedah Basin. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday 10.5 hour shifts, assisting the Drill and Blast Crew.
Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Drill & Blast Supervisor, you will be required to:
Operate a Domestic Water Cart
Operate an IT Loader
Dipping & baiting holes
Assist Drill & Blast team on bench floor
This position will include manual labour and working outside in the elements.
Skills & Experience
Drill & Blast knowledge or Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Unsupervised Handling Licence (UHL) (or willingness to obtain)
HR Drivers Licence ESSENTIAL
Must be able to supply a Police Check and Driving Record
Dangerous Goods Licence
Ability to complete a Pre Employment Medi
