About Our Client

Our client is a medium sized company that is responsible for welding duties on light to heavy gauge steel for projects throughout Brisbane, located in East Brisbane and partnered with WorkPac to recruit qualified Boilermakers to join their team.

About The Role

We currently have multiple positions available for Qualified Boilermakers in long term positions commencing immediately. These roles will be working Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday working 40 - 50 hours a week and the duration of these positions are expected to be between 12 to 18 months. The successful candidates will have a strong background as a Boilermaker, and you will have experience working with light and heavy gauge steel in a workshop environment. If you are approved for a position with our client, you will be required to complete a weld test and if passed, you will commence immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities

• MIG welding

• Light to heavy gauge structural welding

• Reading & interpreting drawings

• Working autonomously

• Maintaining a clean work space

• Completing project based work as required

• Workshop based work

Skills & Experience

• Must be a trade qualified Boilermaker

• Must have experience welding industrial pipes

• Must be confident passing a weld test

• Previous industry experience is required

• Must be available for long term commitments

• Current Drivers Licence

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Available to commence immediately

• A strong work ethic

• Desire to earn a high income $$$$
