About the Role?

We are seeking a Welder/Fitter-Machinist that will coordinate with the workshop supervisor to ensure production and repair schedules are carried out in an orderly and efficient manner.


Duties and Responsibilities?

  • Repairs, general welding, machining and inspections.

  • Conduct welding and repairs of wheels and rims

  • Conduct machining of wheels and rims;

  • Fabrication of parts and assemblies;

  • Operation of hand and machine tools including welding equipment;

  • Inspections of all equipment associated with the repair process;

  • Training of Trades Assistants/ Labourers and Apprentices as required; and

  • Compliance and enforcement of OH&S correct practices within the workshop.

Skills and Experience?

  • Mig ,Tig or stick exp

    • Current Drivers Licence

    • Must have forklift Licence

    • Sub Arc Experience desirable
