About the Role?
We are seeking a Welder/Fitter-Machinist that will coordinate with the workshop supervisor to ensure production and repair schedules are carried out in an orderly and efficient manner.
Duties and Responsibilities?
Repairs, general welding, machining and inspections.
Conduct welding and repairs of wheels and rims
Conduct machining of wheels and rims;
Fabrication of parts and assemblies;
Operation of hand and machine tools including welding equipment;
Inspections of all equipment associated with the repair process;
Training of Trades Assistants/ Labourers and Apprentices as required; and
Compliance and enforcement of OH&S correct practices within the workshop.
Skills and Experience?
Mig ,Tig or stick exp
Current Drivers Licence
Must have forklift Licence
Sub Arc Experience desirable
