Boilermaker

About the Role

WorkPac Mount Isa is currently seeking several Boilermakers for ongoing mine site work in Mount Isa. To be successful, you must be residing or willing to relocate your self to Mount Isa.

Duties & Responsibilities

Your work will be 100% mine site based, carrying out general maintenance, repair and shutdown work in various lead and copper areas of the mine. You must be willing to work in lead environments, and wear a respirator for your shifts.

Skills & Experience

• Boilermaker Trade qualification

• Confined Space and Working at Heights, both completed within the last 2 years

• Be physically fit & capable of working in extreme heat conditions and lead stream environments

• Be reliable, proactive and hard working

Mine Site Requirements

• Pre-Employment Medical, Drug Alcohol & Blood Lead

• Fire & First Aid

• Manual Handling

• Glencore Surface Induction

• This role is a Monday to Friday position, however during a shutdown hours the roster will vary
