Boilermaker / Welder

WorkPac is currently seeking experienced Boilermakers to commence work at the Sun Metals Zinc Refinery Upgrade Project in Townsville.

Job Highlights

• 6-10 months work

• Monday - Saturday

• 58 hours per week

• $42.00 per hour flat rate

• Daily $27.50 travel allowance

Duties & Responsibilities

• MIG, TIG and Flux Core

• Cutting, Shaping and Assembling

• Welding steel to construct or repair metal products

• Pipe welding

Skills & Responsibilities

• Confined space certificate

• Working at Heights certificate

• Construction White Card

• Trade Certificate

• Pipe welding experience preferred

NWEC is an engineering construction company responsible for the upgrade of sections of the Refinery in building structural, mechanical & piping requirements on tanks and pipes.
