What You Will Be Doing
WorkPac are currently seeking Boilermaker to support our Client Rio Tinto at their 7 Mile Rail Facility in the Rollingstock Maintenance workshop. All skill levels will be considered as there is an opportunity for training within the role for the right candidate.
Welding, fabrication and mechanical maintenance tasks related to ore car maintenance.
Wagon braking system preventative and breakdown maintenance, Wheel repairs, bearing, draft-gear, bogie and brake system repairs.
You will be required to learn and then shunt wagons around the workshop.
Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner
This role is for residential applicants only that reside within the Karratha, Dampier region.
What You Will Need
Relevant Australian recognised trade certification in Boilermaking
HR drivers licence is preferred however C class manual licence minimum
Demonstrated fabrication and repair experience
Basic understanding of SAP maintenance systems or similar highly regarded
