Branch Manager

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee our clients Newman branch based in the Pilbara.

Our client specialises in manufacturing of wheels and rims for industrial earthmoving machinery for the mining and construction sector. They are looking for a highly motivated Branch Manager to support the daily functions and growth of their Newman branch based in WA. You will have a good combination of analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving industry landscape and be exciting to build a great team and develop an excellent rapport with new and existing clients in the area. This is a full time permanent position and accommodation can be provided for anyone relocating.

Key Responsibilities will include

  • Management of branch revenue and expenditure.

  • Management of branch staff and work with HR to evaluate the branch staff's KPI progress

  • Ensure proper procedures and safe work practices are followed.

  • Continues process improvement with both shop and office operations.

  • Coordinate annual stock take and oversee the general maintenance of inventory.

  • Identify and resolve any customers concerns.

  • Develop customer networks and sales base as well as implementation of appropriate sales strategy.

  • Monthly site visits with sales reps.

  • Negotiation of any supplies agreement to facilitate the shop and office operations.

  • Directing and assisting workshop with customer needs and supporting workshop to deliver outcomes.

  • Manage and support staff and liaise with existing and new customers to ensure needs are being maintained

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimal 3 years of managerial experience in similar role

  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills.

  • Prior mining industry related experience

  • Undergo pre-employment medical check

  • Police check

  • Willing to conduct interstate travel as required

  • Must hold a current drivers license

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
