Business Improvement Specialist

About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Business Improvement Specialist to join our client in their Perth Office on a Monday to Friday roster. A great opportunity to join a team that runs complex and technical end to end projects spanning across various rail systems and assets.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify operational bottlenecks in the rail system through deep analytics

  • Identify opportunities to increase system sprint capacity through deep analytics

  • Build robust business cases and scopes to improve cycle time, tonnage capacity or fuel saving across operations

  • Successfully project manage medium to long term technical projects

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops, risk assessments and end-user engagements

  • Assist with building operational readiness plans and managing change processes

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in a Business Improvement role

  • Demonstrated experience in operational readiness, embedding and sustaining deliveries

  • Strong analytical capability

  • Proven experience in managing business improvement projects

  • Strong communication and organisation skills

  • High Attention to Detail

  • Computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Six Sigma Qualification Green Belt

  • Current Australian 'C' class driver licence

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
