About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking a Business Improvement Specialist to join our client based in Perth on a Monday to Friday Roster. A great opportunity build organisation capability through facilitatinging, developing and coordinating of training packages and workshops. Engage with key stakeholders to lead improvement initiatives across the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Developing training, creation of content to lead to continued upskilling organizational capability

  • Leader andowner of organizational change management

  • Facilitating workshops & team days

  • Creation and developcontent for cultural shift, strategic change & building capability in team workshops

  • Lead of organizational improvement initiatives; supporting creation of career framework for sustaining capital, embedding inclusion & diversity

  • Co-ordination & facilitation of development & capability training packages

  • Creation of organizational capability plan for sustaining capital with engagement of key stakeholders

  • Build upon & continuously improve existing capability training packages, & embedding project management framework

  • Momentum & pdp creation, maintenance, reporting, training & processing

  • Develop effective initiative scopes, facilitate & contribute to lessons learned

  • Identify, lead, and implement Business Improvement projects (Lean, PPS and Six Sigma) across the operation

  • Build capability through active leadership, mentoring, and training of divisional personnel in Business Improvement methodologies, the standardised performance improvement toolset and in particular Continuous Improvement, Lean and Six Sigma

  • Interfacing with various departments on information centres, lean boards and value creation drumbeat meetings

  • Recording, monitoring, and updating actions arising from productivity and capital efficiency implementations, providing progress reports to stakeholders

  • Developing and leveraging strong working relationships with key internal and external customers to drive continuous improvement

Skills and Experience:

  • Experienced in organisational change management and cross-functional teams

  • Strategic thinker coupled with passion for improvement and delivery

  • Highly effective communication & facilitation skills

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Commerce, or related discipline

  • Experience in operations, capital projects, process improvements, or similar

  • The ability to harness influential leadership with proven stakeholder management experience

  • Proficiency with creating training & workshop content

  • Lean Six Sigma & Momentum skills desirable

  • Current Australian 'C' class driver licence

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
