About the Role
WorkPac is currently seeking an experienced Head Chef for an ongoing role at Rio Tinto's Exploration Magnum mine site on a 15/6 roster. Your shifts will be split to one week of days and one week of nights. Morning shifts run from 3:30am to 3:30pm and night shifts run from 8:00pm to 8:00am. As the Head Chef you will be managing the kitchen for a camp of up to 80 personnel in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Meal planning and preparation
Working with vendors to ensure timely and accurate orders and delivery
Small team leadership
Willing to work in a remote area
Skills & Experience
Cert IV Commercial Cookery
Current unrestricted C Class Manual Drivers Licence
