Our client offers comprehensive global rail solutions which, in addition to the supply of trains, includes viability studies, civil work, electrification, signalling, maintenance and system operation in some cases.

About the role

We are currently seeking a carpentry trade assistant to work on the Paramatta light rail for an 18 month - 24 month contract.

This role is an immediate start and you will be responsible for general maintenance around the rail. The role is Monday - Friday and may occasionally require Saturday work. To be successful for the role you will need to pass a CAT3 medical.

Skills and Requirements

- RIW card ( highly desirable )

- experience with carpentry work

- White card

- Drivers licence
