About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Change and Communication Lead to join the team at Rio Tinto based in Perth. The successful candidate will work a Monday to Friday roster.
Key Responsibilities will include:
The Integrated Systems and Connected Data (ISCD) program aims to ensure key financial decisions are enabled by trusted data, efficient systems and timely reporting. This role is focused on:
Design, develop and execute appropriate communication and change strategies across all epics and the program
Develop and deliver strategic and tactical communications programs by translating change management strategies into an engaging narrative and creating content which brings it to life in a meaningful way for stakeholders
Ensure the cadence, consistency and quality of communications are aligned with strategic requirements
Build and leverage effective relationships with relative areas of RTIO to enable change
Collaborate with the business, technical teams, subject matter experts and other stakeholders to understand impacts of the program and partner to prepare appropriate communications to support process, policy, system and behavioural change
Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes as required by the program, managing any anticipated resistance
Simplify complex and technical deliveries into meaningful communications
Continually evaluate and measure effectiveness of communications plans and activities, making appropriate adjustments as the program evolves
Provide strategic communications advice and guidance to program leadership
Produce accurate and appropriately detailed reports, presentations, briefing notes, support materials, key messages and submissions to stakeholders as required and/or directed
Skills & Experience Required:
Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle a variety of stakeholders.
Experience in project-driven environments, liaising with the business.
Demonstrated ability to determine capability gaps and gain agreement with stakeholders on the optimal approach to address.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated by a superior ability in consultation, networking, negotiation, partnering, documentation and advocacy and influence to achieve outcomes.
Experience with financial processes and systems would be beneficial.
