About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking a CMS Coordinator to join the Rail Maintenance Coastal Track team to assist with the day to day running of their CMS portfolio. You will be based at their 8 Mile Rail Facility.

  • Provide support to CMS Supervisor to effectively manage contractors

  • Run Qual reports for contractors who are on-boarding

  • Be proficient in the RTTMS booking systems

  • Coach and mentor contractors to ensure compliance with HSEQ, CM policies, processes and procedures

  • Coordination of in-field causal audits

  • Backfill in the CMS Supervisor Position when team members take leave

  • Participate in monthly performance reviews

  • Liaison between Rio Tinto Procurement (RTP) and operations

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with leaders and employees/ contractors

Skills and Experience:

  • C Class Drivers Licence

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and SAP

  • Safety focused, knowledge of OSH policies and procedures will be advantageous

  • Ability to work independently and work effectively in a team environment

  • CMS background is desirable however happy to train the right person
