About the Role:

Workpac are seeking a Commissioning Engineer for an opportunity with our renewable energy client based in Perth.

As the Commissioning Manager you will be responsible for the commissioning on various solar farm projects within WA and are responsible for ensuring the final products perform to a high standard and meet the client's needs. This role will be based out of our client's Perth based office with site visitations to the solar farm developments. The role will be an initial 9 month position with our client with potential extension for future projects.

The Commissioning Manager will be responsible for:

• Solar farm commissioning

• Creating and carrying out test procedures and documentation

• Investigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults

• Troubleshooting

• Liaising with installation/project engineers

• Supervising engineering and technical staff

• Writing reports and documentation and providing technical support

• Ensuring safe working conditions as well as training maintenance and operative staff where appropriate.

Experience Required:

• Proven experience in a commissioning role ideally within the renewables sector

• Proven performance for technically complex projects.

• The ability to lead and give instructions to subcontractors

• Successful relationship building across a broad range of levels

• Hold an engineering degree of similar electrical qualifications

• Must have full working rights in Australia
