  • 6 Month Contract with extension possibility

About the Position:

WorkPac are currently working with Open Arms Veterans & Families counselling, who was founded by Australia's Vietnam veterans. They are Australia's leading provider of mental health assessment and counselling for Australian veterans and their families.

To be successful in this position you will be someone who has demonstrated experience working in mid to large scale government departments and supporting regions with the centralised property coordination functions.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting regions with the centralised property coordination functions

  • Working as the point of contact between Open Arms and DVA Property, in relation to Satellite property activities.

  • Review and coordinate Open Arm leasing arrangements and work with DVA property and be responsible for developing a system that allows Open Arms to efficiently manage leases, developing procedures and internal policies.

  • Manage maintenance for properties nationally including maintenance of the Open Arms Property summary

  • Manage property inbox

  • Provide administrative advice, support and services to the Systems & Operations and assisting in all other areas where needed

  • Develop and manage effective relationships with key stakeholders, contractors and internal staff members in order to achieve business objectives.

  • Completing work to a high standard and delivering it within prescribed timeframes

  • Contribute to the Personnel & Property team more broadly as required

  • Adhoc tasks relating to the effective functioning of the Open Arms as directed by the Assistant Director, Personnel and Property.

Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience within a similar role highly desirable

  • Extensive experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

  • High level of integrity and strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast paced environment

  • Strong organisation skills to manage competing priorities

  • Ability to establish strong working relationships and deliver a high standard of customer service

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence

  • Working with Children/Vulnerable people check

  • Must be either an Australian Citizen to apply for this role
