About the role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Compliance Officer for a Fixed term contract based at in Collie. The successful candidate will be supporting the compliance program, assisting the HSE Advisor with other activities to support Collie Power Station.

Duties include:

• Developing, implementing, and managing the client's compliance program

• Coordinating with federal and state regulators

• Planning, implementing, and overseeing risk-related programs

• Creating and coordinating correct reporting channels for compliance issues

• Developing company compliance communications

• Coordinating and scheduling required compliance training for employees

• Demonstrated ability to exercise high-level judgement and discretion

Skills and Experience

• 3-5 years relevant experience in a compliance role or similar

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Good knowledge of legal requirements and procedures

• Strong attention to detail

• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Excel knowledge to analyse data and build visual dashboards

• Relevant qualification in Compliance and Risk Management, Quality Auditing or similar

• Reside in Collie, Bunbury, or surrounding areas

• Right to work in Australia
