About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Control Systems Engineer for an 8:6 roster situated at Hope Downs 1.

Duties:

- Network maintenance, PLC health, comms. health, server rooms maintenance and integrity. HMI system health

- Provide technical support/oversight for complex instrumentation, control system and electrical assets maintenance work

- Implement DE improvements to control system and electrical assets in region

- Support development and execution of region's sustaining capital plan

- Execute small to medium electrical/ control system changes

- Escalation point for control system and electrical asset fault diagnosis and recovery

- Monitor and maintain advanced control system schemes

- Operational site support for control and electrical systems issues and improvement

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role, the candidate will have:

- Familiar with concepts of process control and control schemes.

- Experience with industrial control systems preferably in mining.

- Proficiency in PLC and SCADA systems, particularly Schneider Electric Unity Pro, Concept, Citect SCADA

- Strong communication, written and stakeholder management skills.

- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills.

- Proven ability to problem solve and perform data analysis
