About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled Cost Control Officer to work based out of their Brisbane CBD Office. In this role you will ensure cost and associated cash-flow forecasts are alignment with scope, assist in maintaining integrated cost control plan incorporating all stakeholders monitoring all cash-flows and providing key advice to user groups.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with integrating cost information with Dashboard reports

Ensuring alignment with the Group Cost Control Standards for each phase.

Base lining detailed cash flow (incl. escalation and forex)

Maintain and adhere to efficient controlled invoice approval process.

Establishing and producing reports from Prism

Responsible for managing all cost control and administration functions for assigned projects.

Analysis and interpretation of root cause/s, and identify remediation strategies

Initiate and manage formal change process for assigned projects

Forecast impacts and adjust cash-flow and budgets accordingly based on confidence in remedial and recovery actions

Skills and Experience

• University Degree or Diploma in related discipline.

• Qualification in Cost Control (AACE) - preferred.

• 5 -7 years- experience in a Cost Control position

Construction Management - Greenfield & Brownfield projects

• Working knowledge of Change Management principles

• Experience within Data Integration

• Knowledge of AA standards and systems

• Systems knowledge of Prism, SAP & MS office.
