About the Role

We are currently seeking applications from Assistant Shot Firers to join our Blackwater sites . The successful candidate will have experience as an Assistant Shotfirer ( preferred) and will be working on Mine site to assisting shot firers with blast loading activities including loading blast holes, stemming and tying in shot patterns under the direction of shot firer, assisting with maintaining accurate records of drill hole, blast pattern and ground conditions, ensuring adequate signage is in place to isolate area, warnings are given and assist in inspecting area after blast and other duties as required

• Current Queensland Security Card Clearance -(SSAN Certificate essential)

• Standard 11

• High Risk Forklift Licence (desirable)

• Drivers Licence
