About the Role

Our client is seeking motivated Customer Service Officers for an on-going position located in East Perth. Successful candidates must have previous Customer Service experience and have a proven track record of delivering first class service in a busy environment. In this role your focus will be to proactively support customers enquiries and supply the correct products ordered to the agreed schedule. Previous experience in the Logistics and Transport industries will be highly regarded.

Our client has a ongoing position available paying $26.31 per hour plus penalties. The ongoing position is on a weekly rotating roster, 6:30am - 3:30pm, 7:00 - 4:00pm, 7:30am - 4:30pm. There is also a Saturday shift once a month which attracts penalty rates. .

Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service

Maintain professional communication with both external and internal parties

Ensure that customers have a positive experience while placing an order with the CSO

Answer all calls within 20 seconds

Escalate any customer issues that you are unable to resolve to the appropriate department/manager

Processing customer feedback through the internal database of QSI or CRM daily

Customers will be proactively notified as soon as possible if there is a delay

Customersâ questions and issues need to be promptly and courteously handled

Pleasant telephone manner

Employee relations issues

Allocation

Manage truck utilization in conjunction with plants and managers to effectively reduce costs whilst maintaining optimum service levels to customers

Sound knowledge of Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility legislation

Internal Relationships

Maintain regular and effective communication with both Sales and Production staff

Maintain regular contact with Suppliers as directed daily /weekly

Essential Requirements

Previous experience in the logistics / transport industry is preferred

Previous experience in customer service

Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite

Basic SAP knowledge

Capable of performing minimum data entry requirements

Right to Work in Australia

Must be able to pass full medical & DAS
