About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Dewatering Operator to join our Client's Dewatering Team. You must be motivated, have demonstrated team skills, and a strong safety focus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Day to day monitoring of mine site dewatering requirements

• Monitor water levels in dams and turkey's nests to ensure supply

• Organising the movement of pipe work

• Operate bores to ensure targets are met but not exceeded

• Diagnosing and maintaining the diesel pumps, pipelines and pit bores

• Diagnose and report basic problems within the system

• Installation of ground support

• Database entry and validation

• Pipework inspections

• Polywelding/ Electrofusion

Minimum Criteria:

• Australian HR Class Drivers Licence

• Current Police Clearance within 6 months

• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening

Preferred Tickets and Licences:

• High Risk- Rigging, Dogging, Forklift, Non-slewing Crane

• Certificate (PMBWELD301B) butt welding of pipelines and piping components in accordance with the Australian Guidelines would be an advantage
