Our Client is a Major mining company that provides logistics, materials handling, specialist equipment and consulting services to resources companies across Australia.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Heavy Diesel Fitter to service and maintain a large fleet of mining machinery. Based out of Olympic Dam, you will follow a day shift, 2:1 roster. Previous proven experience working with Caterpillar and/or Komatsu machinery is essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Servicing of Heavy Duty mining machinery

• Ensure safe and clean work environment

• Heavy Diesel Fitter Trade qualification (essential);

• Current drivers licence (essential);

• Demonstrated experience maintaining CATERPILLAR and/or KOMATSU equipment;

• Experience with heavy earth moving machinery;

• Proven commitment to and compliance with site safety standards;

• Auto-electrical experience will be highly regarded.
