About the Client

With a strong commitment to safety, innovation and technology, our client was established in 2021 to acquire the open cut mining business of Downer. This acquisition included the transition of people, mining services contracts, assets, systems and intellectual property from a business which has successfully provided mining and civil services in diverse locations and across many commodities for over 75 years. They are currently seeking a number of experienced Diesel Fitters across both their Goonyella and Broadmeadows East site for a permanent position.

What you will be doing

You will be working with the maintenance crew on a 7/7 rotating day night roster with a choice of either Goonyella or Broadmeadows location. You will be responsible for working on all mining machinery such as Excavators, Loaders, Dozers, Haul Trucks and many more and will have a minimum of one year experience as a Diesel Fitter.

What you will need

• Trade qualified diesel fitter

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role

• Must have a current S11 and CBM or willing to obtain

• Current resume with 2 x work related references

• Experience working on mining machinery is an advantage
