WorkPac are currently looking for experienced Diesel Fitters for onsite workshop positions in the Bowen Basin. You will be required to perform repairs, maintenance, and inspections on a large range of equipment. You will have a proactive approach to your work and possess a positive, can-do attitude.

About the Role -

The role is 7/7, rotating Day Shift & Night Shift, Drive in/Drive out to Moranbah, QLD.

Camp accommodation and meals provided.

• You will be Working on (HME) Heavy Mobile Equipment component changeout Schedules.

• Strong commitment to safety with a proactive approach to your work.

• Ability to work unsupervised with good attention to detail.

• Previous experience in similar role is highly regarded.

• Work well in a team environment.

• Ensure that Mechanical installations and equipment are in accordance with the appropriate Australian standards.

• Support ongoing site maintenance activities meet statutory requirements and internal standards, as specified by Legislation.

Skills & Experience/Qualifications -

• Highly motivated self-starter attitude

• Australian recognised Trade qualifications

• Current manual Drivers Licence

• Current Coal Board Medical or able to obtain

• Current Standard 11

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A

• Committed to a No Harm Environment

• Computer Literate

• Ability to maintain a safe and clean workspace

• Ability in applying the site safety system requirements

• Previous experience in a similar role will be highly regarded

• RII's for Test and Move Mobile Equipment highly regarded
