Diesel Mechanic

• $42/hr + penalties

• Port Augusta SA location

About the role

Our client is currently seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic experienced in the service, maintenance and repair of heavy plant and equipment

Duties and responsibilities

The role is 50% workshop based and 50% field service based working on equipment hired out to various client sites
This is a Monday to Friday role with overtime as required

Skills and experience

You will have a good knowledge base around heavy equipment and being able to diagnose and repair issues as required
You'll have a proactive approach to your tasks and good customer service skills to maintain quality business relationships

Tickets and qualifications
HR licence
LF ticket
Construction industry white card

These are not essential however and we are happy to assist you in attaining these as long as you bring the right skill level and attitude to the role

This is initially a casual role (working full time hours), but with a view to become a permanent role after the first 3 months
