Our client is a bus and coach operation that provides predominantly school, charter, and mining transport in central Queensland. Partnered with WorkPac, they are currently seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to commence immediately.

About the Role

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter located in Mackay to commence immediately. This opportunity is set to go for 3 months with the possibility for ongoing employment for the right candidate. This is a Monday â Friday position with a minimum of 40 - 45 hours per week. The successful candidate will have experience in heavy vehicles including B Double trucks, Buses and MC trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation of new components and equipment

• Maintenance and repairs on coaches

• Following schedules and work scopes

• Undertaking diagnostics and completing documentation

•  Utilising various hand and power tools

• Following strict safety standards

Requirements

• You must hold relevant Trade Qualification

• Experience working on heavy vehicles, B Double trucks, buses and MC trucks

• Recent experience in a similar role

• Air Con/Electrical Ticket desirable

• Current resume with 2x work related referees

• Hold a current drivers licence

• Available for an immediate start

• Reliable and strong work ethic
