About Our Client:

Our client delivers a full range of open cut mining in the coal and metalliferous mining sectors, spanning the entire mine development and operations and offers specialist mine site rehabilitation works including environmental dam construction and reclamation earthworks. The client offers additional training opportunities to expand employee???s knowledge base.

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Dozer Operator to commence at a mine 150km from Mackay. You will be working a 5/4 Roster with successful candidates starting as soon as possible.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate Dozer D10/D11,

• Become familiar with the various stages of a project and the estimated timeline for completion

• Communicate with the Supervisory staff regularly to stay informed about any change in plan or procedure

• Survey the safety conditions at the start and finish of each day shift

• Operate other machinery pending on skill level

• Pre-start checks on machinery

Skills and Experience:

• RII or signed skills is mandatory

• Minimum 6 Months Experience

• Current Standard 11 or equivalent

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence and Right to work within Australia

Benefits of role:

• Payrate $65 - 70/h pending on experience
