About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Supervisor for a role with our leading mining client based at their Gladstone operations.

WorkPac are looking for a Construction leader, based in Gladstone to supervise capital projects across our mining clients refinery site.? You will be part of a team that is delivering a portfolio of projects, with a combine value in excess of $50M. The projects range from Major purchases/installs, Assets integrity inspections to sustainable and upgrade projects, with values from $100k up to $2-5M. We are looking for Construction leaders with experience in supervising mechanical, structural, piping, electrical/Instrument projects.

Key Duties and Responsibilities could include but not limited to:

• Liaise with project leads and senior management to complete tender reviews

• Oversee project construction through to hand over

• Lead a variety of construction projects including equipment purchase and installation, pipeline upgrades, vessel replacements, environment upgrades and major asset integrity upgrades including cooling tower refurbishments, tank inspections etc.

• Supervise contractors including onboarding, running daily pre-starts and toolbox meetings and conducting safety inductions

• Your demonstrated ability to engage, connect and positively influence key stakeholders will play a critical part to the effectiveness in this role

Experience Required:

• A commitment to the safety of yourself and the construction teams

• Experience working in Construction or mining

• Electrical background

• Having done previous construction supervision roles

• Site experience

• Hold either an Australian citizenship or a permanent resident visa status

• Must be willing to complete a full pre-employment medical
