About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our clients HME team, working FIFO from Perth on an 8:6 roster at Sino Iron.

Duties include:

• Provide engineering support, responding and resolving electrical and plant control breakdowns

• Analyse plant and equipment failures through application of defect elimination and Root Cause Analysis methods

• Demonstrate understanding of relevant codes of practice, standards, guidelines, and knowledge specifically on equipment such as balanced machines, conveyor systems and variable speed drives

• Execution of Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects resulting in improved plant/equipment performance, reliability and utilisation and safety

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a similar role

• Mining industry experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP

• Effective communication skills, including the ability to effectively, communicate requests and instructions to individuals and groups

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Flexibility and adaptability to manage changing work requirements

• Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within the team

• Bilingual highly desirable

• WA Drivers Licence
