About our Client

About the Role

The successful candidate will be called upon to operate and maintain the Automated machine shop and surrounding fixed plant assets which includes;

  • Preventive and breakdown Maintenance on equipment

  • Work management system data entry

  • Operate Portal lathe, Borer, Axle lathe and associated station in the machine shop.

  • Service and repair R & I Trolleys, Draft gear trolleys and Zagros

There is also the expectation that Maintainers will keep their workplace clean and tidy, repair defects as instructed and complete general workshop duties as required.

This role is for residential applicants only that reside within the Karratha, Dampier region.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant Trade Certificate (A Grade Electrical Licence)

  • Current C Class Drivers Licence

  • Flexible and able to work well in a team

  • Ability to follow instruction through to task completion

  • Committed with 100% safety focus

  • Experience in the Rail Industry, wagon maintenance specifically would be advantageous
