About the Role

WorkPac currently has positions available for qualified electricians with our client Rio Tinto at their Cape Lambert site. We are willing to consider candidates without previous mining experience such as people with domestic experience, or recently trade qualified that are interested in a long term, lifestyle move to the Pilbara.

Reporting to the Statutory Electrical Supervisor, you will:

• Complete fault finding and breakdown repairs;

• Complete plant inspections to identify faults and raise notifications in SAP for resolution;

• Create breakdown work orders and order parts;

• Isolation of equipment for maintenance and operational task

Skills & Experience

• WA Electrician Licence

• Electrical Fitter trade certification

• Demonstrated electrical fitting experience, particularly with fault diagnostics

• Passion for the safe execution of all work

• Manual C Class Australian issued Drivers Licence (minimum)

• Demonstrated experience in a mining position is highly regarded but not essential
