About the Client.

Our national client is a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector and is seeking an experienced Electrical Mechanical Fitter to join their growing business. This role will be on a temp/casual basis with the option to transition to a permanent salary-based role with our client after a period of 6 months.

What you will be doing.

Reporting to the QLD Operations Manager, this role will see you manage, maintain and perform all maintenance activities. The plant operates the finest state of the art processing (integrated lines and stand-alone machines) equipment and is located in North Brisbane in close by to the Gateway Motorway.

To be successful in securing this opportunity, you will have the below skills and experience:

• Relevant Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification Mechanical Fitter & Electrical fitter

• Experience in Integrated Production Lines with PLC control logic

• EWP Elevated Work License

• Forklift QLD High Risk Work License

• High level of mechanical & electrical aptitude, trouble shooting ability

• Strong communication skills. Both oral and written

• Maintenance leader in their field

• A valid drivers license

This opportunity is available for immediate start and will work on a Monday to Friday - Dayshift roster. Due to the nature of this role, you may be on call on occasions should there be a mechanical breakdown that requires immediate attention.
