Electrical Supervisor

  • Site based opportunity on a 8/6 FIFO roster

About the Role:

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our tier one mining Client. The purpose of the role is to Supervise the execution of project delivery activities in accordance with the plan, ensuing all projects are delivered safely, to the required quality and within the approved budgets.

Key Responsibilities will include

⢠Supervision of project execution processes and routines to support the highest standard of compliance for all safety, standards and policies

⢠Lead with an influencing style to create a team culture that supports the Project Foundations

⢠Safety and quality verification through in-field monitoring including operational review of Construction Methodology Statements, TBRAâs, JHAâs, CRAWs, High Risk Certificates, Permits, Inspections, and all identified risk assessment controls.

⢠Incident reporting and investigation with the HSE team

⢠Site Access and other Mobilisation activities for site-based execution teams

⢠Contractor performance management (Managed and Monitored Contractors)

⢠Monitor alignment to construction schedules, methods, adequate resourcing, material and equipment requirements including daily execution documentation

⢠Troubleshooting and issue resolution to avoid execution delays

⢠Attend all pre-starts and progress meetings for each project they are assigned

⢠Produce daily milestone report including weather, progress, resources, actions and risks.

⢠Raise Minor Purchase Requisitions (MPR) in accordance with procurement guidelines, to support small ad-hoc purchases to support progress of site work

⢠Liaise with the Materials/Logistics Controllers to ensure equipment and materials are available, equipment management and VOC of operators

⢠Management with the PE for Isolation activities and coordination with respective operations team.

⢠Participate in Hold Points within ITP, sign off ITR's and FICâs

⢠Maintain relationships and communications with site-based stakeholders to optimise their project delivery outcome

Skills & Experience Required

⢠A Grade WA Electrical License

⢠Minimum 5 yearsâ experience in a similar electrical construction supervisory role is essential.

⢠Demonstrated experience in programming and scheduling construction work is essential.

⢠Experience in estimating electrical construction work is desirable.

⢠Sound understanding of survey and set out practices.

⢠Experience with the installation of LV and HV Equipment.

⢠Strong communication skills (oral & written)

⢠Previous S44 experience an advantage

⢠Previous experience supervising multi discipline teams an advantage
