Electrical Works Supervisor

Ongoing opportunity Permanent with the client Renewable energy industry About the Role: WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our Client, Enel Green Power, in facilitating the move towards electrification and sustainable energy. This role is based at the Flat Rocks Wind Farm Project in Kojonup, on a Monday - Friday roster with occasional Saturday's and a December start. Key Responsibilities will include Monitor, with support of Safety and Environment Manager, the implementation of safety and hygiene provisions in the workplace and environmental protection, in compliance with local legislation. Perform safety inspection ensure that the measure reflected on the SMWS are implemented on the field. Assuring the compliance of electrical works performed with Issued for Construction (IFC) Design, Technical Specification, contractual requirements, quality, local laws and site sustainability. Monitoring and tracking the progress of electrical works activities, promptly detecting eventual criticalities or delays and proceeding in problem solving by coordinating with Site Manager\Coordinator, in order to reach schedule objectives defined. Performing the measurement and classification of work executed and the compilation of the booklets of measurements and accounting (services entry sheet) required for the payment release. Implementing Quality Control Plan on site, attending to the test execution when needed, and checking test reports and field data to assure quality requirement are being met. Detecting possible non-conformities during the works activities, promptly informing the Site Manager \ Coordinator and supporting this role in Non-Conformity Reporting and problem solving. Supporting the Site Coordinator by ensuring the implementation of Design Change and Non-Conformity resolution during construction and assembly activities. Supervise all electrical subcontractors on site in order to meet technical and quality requirements set forth in electrical drawings and specifications. Responsible for reporting and monitoring tracking or electrical activities relating to project schedule. Assist the on-site construction team in resolving technical or engineering issues with vendors and contractors relating to EGP electrical disciplines. Design/drafting as necessary to assist the design team. Tools in charge to the Site Electrical Supervisor Daily Inspection Report Site Test forms IFC Drawings, Design TSs, Quality Control Procedures Skills & Experience Required University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent diploma in a technical discipline. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project). Valid Drivers License and white card. Able to undertake extensive travel with temporary relocation to construction sites both domestic and international for 6-12 month durations. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments in adverse and extreme weather conditions and in confined spaces. Knowledge and experience with the relevant codes in force both International and local. Knowledge in the electrical and commissioning activities to perform in the construction of an Electrical power plant. Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
