About the Role

Opportunity exists on a Blackwater mine site for an Electrician - CHPP experience is desirable. We require an ASAP start working a lifestyle roster with 12 hour shifts, this is an ongoing role. Accommodation and meals are supplied.

An absolute commitment to working safely, complying with all site safety standards and ensuring a safe and environmentally healthy workplace is essential. It is imperative that you possess the ability and aptitude to maintain high standards of safety, equipment serviceability, housekeeping and compliance with mine working procedures.

Duties/Responsibilities

• All aspects of wash plant repairs and routine maintenance

• Fault finding and trouble-shooting of electrical systems

• Ability to comply with Isolation and Tagging Procedures

• A willingness to work rotating rosters

• Ability to contribute and work positively in a team environment

Skills/Experience

• Trade Qualification essential

• Current Standard 11 Induction

• Current Coal Board Medical

• Current Driver's Licence

• CPR/LVR (within 12 months)

• Sound work history
