About the Client:
Our client is a commercial trade services company providing reactive and preventative maintenance for high profile commercial organizations such as ANZ, Macquarie Bank, Apple, QBE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL, CBA and CBRE. Our client directly employs a variety of tradesmen and women, including electricians, plumbers, carpenters, painters, tilers, and cabinet makers. Our client is licensed for a vast variety of works including building, electrical, carpentry, gas fitting and plumbing.

About the Role:
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to assist our client to carry out quality maintenance services on their customers government offices/property.
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Port Melbourne, VIC ?
Day shift: 8am to 6pm (Mon to Fri)
Salary: $75k plus super?
Fully kitted out vehicle, phone and overtime rates (weekend or after hours) will also be included in this role.
This role would be suitable for people who have experience with carrying out electrical maintenance services for commercial customers (retail shop fit outs, repairs for bank branches/offices, government offices etc).
Duties/Responsibilities:
Completing approximately 8 jobs per day
Carrying out preventative maintenance (test & tag, RCD testing, EEL, Thermo Imaging etc)
Performing reactive repairs and installations as required
Conduct site walkthroughs
Review, Accept and Update all job requests that is allocated to you via our clients mobile app
Scoping & quoting on project/repair works
Be able to manage multiple job requests and prioritise urgent job requests
Communicate well with both customers and the team
Adhering to all safety protocols and COVID regulations on site

Skills/Experience:
Need to be good with computers ??? this role will require you to be able to work with our clients mobile app to accept, review and update all job requests
Must have electrical maintenance experience (ideally in a commercial setting)
Need to be flexible to work after hours or on weekends if the job requires it
Strong communicator ??? need to be able to keep both customers and the team updated with your workload for the day
Must be fully vaccinated/valid medical exemption letter for COVID-19
A Grade VIC Electrical Licence
Can pass a national police check (most of their customers are government agencies which will require a high level of clearance)
Drivers Licence
Have full working rights in Australia - this is a full time position with full time work hours
