The Kwinana Power Station (KPS) site is located in the City of Kwinana industrial area on the shores of the Cockburn Sound. Following the closure of the KPS in 2015, the Kwinana Rehabilitation Project (KRP) was formed in 2016. The Project is tasked to plan and execute all necessary works required to deliver a safe and rehabilitated site that continues to support Synergyâs remaining operations on the Kwinana site. This includes overseeing the scope of work for the staged demolition of existing infrastructure, and the supply of facilities to support site services involved in the operation of the onsite gas fired generating units. In 2022 the majority of the services within the demolition area have been relocated or decommissioned to allow major demolition of KPS to commence.

Scope of work - Decommissioning of equipment around the powerplant. Also assisting with removal of old equipment

Good safety awareness and the ability to work to stringent guidelines

The assignments of work will vary across the next 6 months as the client Synergy move onto other areas of de-commissioning

Requirements - A grade electrical licence,

Nice to have - confined space, WSAH, EWP
