About the Role

WorkPac are currently seeking an experienced Specialist Fire Engineer for a 6 month duration located at Brisbane. The role will entail a Monday to Friday working schedule

Skills and Experience

- At least 10-15 years' of relevant experience in Fire Safety Engineering

- Through a high level of technical knowledge, you will have a strong demonstrated experience in embedding the end to end process required to maintain existing fire equipment and ability to implement industry best practice for future projects.

- Have demonstrated capabilities in effectively engaging with various levels and across Operations and Functions

- Experience in managing contractors to deliver positive results in safety, culture and productivity.

The successful candidate must have proven experience in design and management of fire protection projects, as well as solid knowledge of the following codes and standards:

- Routine service of fire protection systems and equipment to AS 1851

- Fixed fire protection installations - Pumpset systems to AS 2941

- Automatic Fire Sprinkler Systems to AS 2118

- Hydrant systems to AS2419

- Hose reel systems to AS2441

- Smoke and Thermal detection systems to AS1670
