About the Role:
WorkPac are currently seeking a Electrical Engineer to carry out electrical and instrumentation design for capital and maintenance projects. Managing cost, schedule and scope. Being able to provide engineering support and advice for electrical instrumentation infrastructure across site.
Skills / Qualifications:
A tertiary/degree qualification in Electrical Engineering
5 - 10 years relevant industry experience involved in site based projects, preferably in a maintenance environment
Proficiency in executing Engineering Modifications & Small Projects, preferably in a mining environment
Knowledge in the following areas:
HV/LV motors / drives
Variable Speed Drives (ABB & Siemens)
HV/LV Switchgear MCC
Familiar with AS & NZS Standards
Familiar with WA Mines Act & Regulations
Asset Management (RCM / DE)
Familiar with SAP
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, these will be key components of this role as you will work with closely with a variety of stakeholders
A proven track record of safety management
Excellent time management and organisation skills
A positive and proactive attitude
